Forced into hiding.
Desperate to find their masters.

In the past few months since the attack on their home, twin assassins Dylan and Devin have grown restless. With the Rhodi facing extinction, they search for their masters Talidin and Tavana, only to discover they’ve gone missing. With nowhere to turn, the twins seek help from a pair of mysterious spies, only to find the trail gone cold, marked by hints of torture and destruction.

Dylan and Devin piece together the events that led to the disappearance of their fellow Rhodi. As their enemies close in for the kill, Dylan discovers that some things are impossible for a Rhodi…but not for a tigress.
The stakes and romance are heightened in this epic dystopian sequel to Rhodi’s Light. Bestselling author Megan Linski brings readers a young adult fantasy with magic, mystery, and an epic adventure that races quickly to a breathless conclusion

Twins, Dylan and Devin have been taken away from their masters and are forced to live a normal life safe away from the Rhodi world. But despite the company of their cousin, they cannot let go of the Rhodi world and the family they found there. so they keep trying to get in touch with their masters. But when their newly mundane life is attacked, the twins and their blind cousin, Tristan, are relieved to finally get back to their masters and secure their help to rescue their family. But when they arrive, their masters are nowhere to be found and the three teens have to battle their way to their masters, find them, rescue their family all while trying to find out who betrayed them in the first place.

This sequel has upped up the action, the romance and the feels. Dylan has progressed a lot and you see her evolving and trying to get better. She still has her moments when she goes back to a depressive state but you feel that her love for Talidin and her friends has fueled her determination to get better. Dylan is character you can look at in this book and feel proud of journey after all she'd gone through in book 1!

We get introduced to new characters and once again seriously i'd like to applaud the author for their uniqueness!! They were all so different and they come out of the page completely. I did miss Talidin and Tavana in this book but i felt that their absence was necessary for Devin and Dylan to kind of spread their wings and really connect with their abilities.

Saffron, the psycho has has just become extremely intriguing! I though before she was just so hell bent on destroying Dylan that there was nothing more to her, but in the same fashion the author has crafted all her other characters, there is so much more to Saffron that meets the eye. And i did really like the little twist about Saffron's background!

Tristan is by far one of my favorite characters. He's blind and really sarcastic, he tends to be angry at the world for his situation and he's very open about his blindness though he tends to be over open i guess...He'll always complain about his situation and bring it up everywhere. Some of the characters got annoyed at times and i also did i but it was much more realistic because sometimes these disabled characters tend to have "I'm happy the way i am and i'll live with it" message but Tristan really breaks that mold. I could not help but feel all giddy when he starts to bond with a certain someone (no spoilers :P)

Personally i think that Megan Linski did a FANTASTIC humane depiction of every one of her characters. None of them were neglected or lacking in description in any way. They were all unique and every single one of them had flaws. I think people will really connect with this series because of mainly the characters, everyone can see a part of themselves in them and it makes it so much more enjoyable to read!

Anyways a highly recommended series bombarded with feels, romance and action! You'll definitely want to pick this up!
